Stoke City have finally snared the long awaited striker and signed Jon Parkin from Hull on loan until the end of the season.
Known as ‘The Beast’, Parkin is Hull’s current top scorer with seven goals this season, but has not managed to hit the back of the net since October and has fallen out of favour with manager, Phil Brown.
One of the terms of the agreement is that Parkin will not play against Hull when the two teams meet at the Brit on April 21st, but should go straight into tomorrow’s squad against Southampton.
