Stoke sign Davies from the Saints

Stoke City have completed the signing of England U21 international, Andrew Davies from Southampton.

The 23 year old defender has signed a four year deal for a reported £1.3m.

He only joined the Saints in January after leaving Middlesborough where he played 50 times for the north-east club, but with Southampton’s current financial problems he was one high earner that they were forced to let go. Several Saints’ fan sites are saying that we’ve got a good player on the cheap.
