Controversy struck the Stoke City training ground today, as a bizarre prank on a friend went thoroughly wrong. A small selection of the Stoke players thought it would be amusing to play a prank on fellow team-mate Kenwyne Jones, by putting a pigs Head, yes, a pigs Head in the Trinidadian strikers locker.

Images have been put onto Potters Midfielder Brek Shea`s Twitter of him holding the pigs head in the changing room at the Stoke training complex at Clayton Woods. Jones didn`t take the prank in as good a spirit as his teammates though, as Jones reportedly erupted in the dressing room. The striker took extreme offence to the prank, and has cited his religious beliefs for the reasons of his anger. Rumours are going around Stoke on Trent lately that Jones actually retaliated by smashing the car windows of Irish Midfielder Glenn Whelan.

This is just the latest in a series of end of season pranks from the Premier League club, who last week pranked striker Michael Owen by covering his Mercedes Benz in eggs and flour. This does beg the question, have some of the players gone too far with this prank, and also, who is next in line? What are your thoughts?
