Stoke midfielder, Karl Henry says that the club have not offered him a new contract and is worried that they will dispense with his services at the end of his current contract in the summer.

He had rejected an offer last year, but thought that the club would come back with an improved offer, but he has since heard nothing.

Karl said: ‘I was offered a new deal in December but I rejected it and I thought they’d come back to me with a new offer but so far the club haven’t. I take it from that there may not be a new offer for me.’

Karl has not been a regular in the first team under Boskamp even though he is rated by a large number of fans.
