Stoke City have joined the hunt for Manchester City`s winger Scott Sinclair.

The Potters have added their name to the ever growing list of suitors for the former Swansea and Chelsea midfielder.

Sinclair, who only moved to The Ethihad Stadium last summer from Swansea for £6.2 million, has seen his first team opportunities limited.

With the additions of Fernandinho and Jesus Navas to the Manchester City squad so far this summer, the 24-year-old has dropped even further down the pecking order and it is rumoured that new Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini is open to Sinclair`s departure.

Former England under-21 international, who can play either on the wing or as a striker is also being closely monitored by Everton, West Brom and Southampton.

Any move involving Sinclair away from the Ethihad could come in the way of a loan or permanent transfer as he is so desperate for more first team opportunities.
