Clearly football’s transfer window silly season is now catching, as Stoke City fans are beginning to invent their own speculation and stories when it comes to potential transfer targets.
Belgian outlet Voetbal yesterday linked Swansea City, Stoke City and West Bromwich Albion in a piece of speculation surrounding Werder Bremen full back Robert Bauer.

They stated that all three Championship sides were tempted by the 23-year-old and that they had joined Club Brugge and several other French and Italian sides in expressing an interest in the player.
Bauer is a former Germany Under 20 player. The right-back only made 16 appearances for his German side last season, but they are said to be interested in moving him on owing to their capture of Swede Felix Beijmo.
Now, I know nothing about the player so can’t really offer an opinion, but it seems most fans who took to social media to discuss this piece of speculation know little about him either.
The topic of conversation centred around one particular angle instead.
