The big Iceland international has left Stoke and signed for Danish side Brondby. Sigurdsson, who joined the Potters from Viking last year, has been limited to only 10 starts and 15 substitute appearances since his arrival, scoring a solitary goal at QPR last season.
Sigurdsson hasn’t been in boss Tony Pulis’ plans so far this season, and his move away will allow Southampton’s Ricardo Fuller to join City tomorrow. Check back to the site for news on his impending arrival.

Meanwhile midfielder Dave Brammer could follow Sigurdsson out of the Potteries, with his former club Crewe said to be interested.
The Scouser has started every game so far, however a move to Dario Gradi’s men may reignite his career following his disappointing stint with The Potters.
