Stoke City defender, Ryan Shawcross has earned his second call-up to the England U21 squad.
The 20 year old, who signed for the Potters back in January, has been named in the squad to face Poland at Molineux on March 25th.
He’s had a great start to his first full season in English football. Originally joining on loan from Manchester United, he has been an almost constant fixture in defence, scoring eight goals in the process and was named the Championship player of the month last October.
When he eventually earns his first cap (which he surely will at some point), it will be well deserved and he has been tipped for great things in the future.
