Xherdan Shaqiri has been giving nothing away concerning his possible transfer to Liverpool over the summer.
The pint-sized Swiss international just indicated that things were in the hands of his agent and he had nothing to add.
Liverpool have been linked with a move for the Stoke star for some time although they had been interested in other targets. But other interest in players looks to have wavered and once again Shaqiri is at the top of Jurgen Klopp’s wanted list.
Liverpool are desperate to strengthen the side ahead of the new season and Shaqiri looks to fit the bill and he would come at a bargain price knowing how Stoke undervalue players when it comes to selling.
£12million is the figure being touted for the 26-year-old, one of the few shining lights in the Potter’s squad last season as they failed to escape relegation to the Championship.
Shaqiri told Blick:
“I can’t tell you anything right now.
“I think my agents take care of my future. I’m focusing on the national team right now.”
He will come see tried lower the fee the deal will happen

Any idea about when? Thought the Swiss coach wanted all his players to focus on the WC and tie up their business beforehand
