The Stoke City side that will face Leeds United this afternoon has been announced.
Elland Road plays host to Stoke City and Leeds for the opening Championship clash of our 2018/19 campaign following last season’s disappointing relegation from the Premier League.
This will be a 4.30pm kick-off and the following team lineups have now been announced.

It’s been a mixed pre-season for both clubs but Stoke should come into the game with slightly better confidence you would think, and with some of our summer captures making their debuts, motivation and determination shouldn’t be lacking or an issue.
With optimism and hope amongst the fanbase that we can, in fact, bounce back to the top-flight at the first time of asking, it should also ensure a cracking atmosphere as we go in search of our first three points of the season.
The season won’t be decided today though, so whatever happens, Rowett’s side will gel further in the coming weeks, but a win would be a great boost for everyone.
