Rooney off to Yeovil

Adam Rooney has joined Yeovil Town on a month’s loan.

Rooney had originally missed out on a loan spell before Christmas, but with the arrival Jon Parkin, Pulis had promised that the striker would get his chance to enjoy some first team football on loan as well.

He joins Peter Sweeney, who is also on loan at the Somerset club and comes on the back of his call-up to the Republic of Ireland Under 21 squad earlier in the week.
