Chris Foy will be the man in the middle when Stoke welcome Steve Bruce`s Hull City to the Britannia Stadium this weekend.

Foy has refereed 22 times this season handing out 61 yellow cards and four red cards, at an average of three cards per game.

The Liverpool County F.A. referee was promoted to the Premier League select group of referee`s in 2001, before being appointed a FIFA official between 2002 and 2007.

Foy`s biggest fixture to date was the 2010 F.A. Cup final between Chelsea and Tottenham at Wembley Stadium.

The St. Helens official has officiated Stoke once so far this season. He was in charge of Stoke`s 2-2 draw against West Ham at the Brit. He handed out two yellow cards during the fixtures; one to a Stoke player.

The 52-year-old has only refereed Hull once this season; their 2-0 away defeat against Chelsea. He handed out seven yellow cards and one red card during the fixture; three cards being handed out to Hull players, Tom Huddlestone was shown two yellow cards and sent off by Foy.
