BBC Radio Stoke have asked Vital Stoke readers for help building a Photo Gallery to commemorate the end of season run-in.

John Acres, Radio Stoke’s Sports Editor told us: ‘On the BBC Radio Stoke website, we’re building a new Photo Gallery for Stoke fans to mark the run-in to the end of the season. The idea is to mark history so we want Potters fans to send in photos of themselves as the weeks go by.

Photos of fans – at the matches, at home in front of the radio, in the pub talking about the game, at the Brit, in the car on the way to the game, in front of the TV and more – they all count!

And related photos – of other fans at the games, standing outside away grounds, of the kids in the colours, of the dog or the hamster in the colours(!), with banners and without .. Use your imagination!

Just email any of your photos to sport.stoke@bbc.co.uk and we’ll post them on the internet and mention them on Praise & Grumble!!!

Find the gallery by logging on to bbc.co.uk/stoke and clicking on ‘In Pictures’ ‘

  • Interesting that Radio Stoke and Vital Football have not pointed out that taking cameras into the ground is expressley forbidden according to the notices displayed outside every turnstile! 😉 Many of us have taken photographs inside the ground of course and I’m sure the rule is there to protect Football League copyright to action photographs for commercial publication – perhaps it is time for the rule to be amended to reflect what its real purpose is.

  • If I was asked to stop taking photo’s at the match, I know what I’d say. And the second word would be OFF!!!

    Dicks.
