Tony Pulis has accepted a request to manage an African XI against an European XI in a charity match taking place in Turin, Italy next Monday.

It’ll be fascinating to see how the Stoke manager will cope with slightly more skill at his disposal than normal with Didier Drogba and Emmanuel Adebayor both playing along with Stoke players Salif Diao, Mama Sidibe, Abdoulaye Faye and Amdy Faye.

One of the charities that will benefit will be Salif’s Caap-Afrika organisation, which raises money to finance medical operations in Monaco for people from his home country of Senegal.
