Tony Pulis has responded to criticism after the Potters’ dismal defeat against League 2 club, Darlington on Tuesday night.
‘We let ourselves down as a group. Supporters are disappointed and rightly so – we have to live with that’. He said after the 1-2 defeat.
‘Everybody has to take responsibility, take it on the chin and apologise to the 3,000 supporters who came.
‘I will hold my hand up and take the flak, that’s what I will do as manager. I work with the team and I take responsibility. The players know the score – they don’t need to be told’
