Stoke City have appealed against Andy Griffin’s red card during the Norwich match last Saturday.

Pulis was furious that Youssef Safri appeared to encourage the referee to send Griff off after staying down after the tackle just before the end of the Potters’ 1-0 defeat at Carrow Road.

‘We will be appealing because we think Griff played the ball’ Pulis told the official site.

The appeal should be heard this week, the risk is that he could face more than the usual three match ban if the appeal is not successful.
