Now it seems that Peter Coates will take over Stoke City, we’re assuming that Johan Boskamp will not have his contract renewed and that we will be looking for a new manager – again.

Several old familiar names have been thrown in to the ring already, along with some long shots. We’ve been running a poll with the early nominations but there just seem to be too many for a sensible poll at this time, so I’ve decided to list as many as I know of and let you comment below. I’m assuming that John Rudge will not be manager, but will again take up the reins of Director of Football.

So in no particular order…..
Adrian Heath
Tony Pulis
Noel Blake
Gerry Taggart
Martin Allen
Mick McCarthy
Lou Macari
Brian Kerr
Peter Reid
David O’Leary

Who would you like to see as the next Potters’ manager?

Feel free to add more names or rubbish those that I’ve added.

  • Chris: can we stick McCarthy on there also (& get rid of Grudge, as no one really sees him as manager i guess).

Plus any others: Scolari / Woodward / etc !

  • In Plymouth All the talk is that TP is your man. Although Pullis himself shrugs this off.
It would be good to get it sorted as we are getting pretty fed up with the rumours.
