After opening up with a win on Saturday against Burnley the Potters face a much more difficult time of it at Anfield against Liverpool tomorrow night. The Reds went down 2-1 at Tottenham on Sunday and will be looking to bounce straight back in their first home match of the season.
Stoke might try to attack Liverpool from dead ball situations, one of the Potters strengths, Stoke`s both goals against Burnley came from set-pieces and Spurs second against Liverpool on Sunday was also form a dead ball.
Dean Whitehead has Stoked up the fire by saying “I think Alonso is going to be a major miss for them-he seemed to run the game when he was playing”.
Rafa Benitez has also come out and called this a “must win game” for Liverpool as they so often struggled to beat the smaller sides last season
