With a message sent round most Vital sites asking fans to take part in a questionnaire about whether alcohol should be served during the games, Vital Stoke wondered how what our fans think. So the result is as follows:
Yes! Pint please love – 18%
No! I’ll stick to the tea – 80%
Not sure; there’s pros and cons – 2%
Well could I just ask; forget the beer for me, please whip out the flask because I want a cup of tea! It`s a unanimous vote that the affects of alcohol during the game would be asking for trouble. Most will use the excuse that it relaxes you, but I think getting caught up the moment of an exciting football match may lead to more than a witty chant at the opposition when you`re a bit ‘crossbarred`. The police and stewards alike would have a much more difficult task if certain fans were fueled on alcohol, which could mean stricter rules and more reinforcements.
Personally I wouldn`t want it to be allowed and hope it would never happen. What do you think?
