Inter Milan striker Victor Obinna has said he would be at home playing for Stoke next season. The Nigerian international has admitted that it seems very likely that he will leave the European Champions and has said that three or four clubs have expressed interest.

The highly thought of 22 year-old spent last season on loan at Spanish club Malaga netting nine times. 11 international goals and 34 in 82 for previous club Chievo shows that he has real talent and has been described by Jose Mourinho in the past as one of Inters best future prospects.

Obinna told Sky Sports News “Stoke City is a very powerful team, I am also a powerful player so I will be at home there”.

“Its only rumours and nothing serious so far so lets wait and see. Teams have started moving now”.

This does sound very promising but Stoke have previous experiences of players saying they want to join the club and then end up somewhere else (Joe Ledley).

Obinna won`t come cheaply but with the Potters in desperate need of a quality striker they have got to take every chance they get.
