Out of contract midfielder, Karl Henry has been offered a trial by Wolves and played in Steve Bull’s testimonial game against Aston Villa on Saturday night in which Wolves lost 3-0.

The 23 year old, who has been offered a new contract by the Potters but has not yet agreed to it, seems likely to be moving away from the Britannia Stadium in the not too distant future.

Henry failed to excite either Tony Pulis or Johan Boskamp enough to be given a regular first team place, but has been a regular choice for the sub’s bench, only making 30 starts in the last two seasons.

With Tony Pulis still not appearing willing to give the former Academy student a break, Henry has obviously decided that his future lies elsewhere – whether it is down the M6 in Wolverhampton remains to be seen.
