Stoke have been drawn against Arsenal for the fourth round of the FA Cup for the second time in three years, IF they can get past Newcastle next week.

Another mouth-watering tie awaits the Stoke faithful, this time at the new Emirates Stadium, which will bring back memories of the 3rd round of the FA Cup back in January 2005 when Stoke traveled to Highbury and were beating Wenger’s lot after 45 minutes thanks to a goal on the stroke of half time from Wayne Thomas, but then went on to lose 2-1.

  • For what it’s worth Chris, I certainly hope you get past Newcastle. I would be much happier to welcome you guys to town rather than Allardyces shysters!

  • Great result on Sunday fellas and you have been duly awarded – Newcastle are doable at St Jameses and it ain’t the fortress it used to be.. If you can turn them over in the replay (your poll suggests you can) then it’s a trip to what is probably the best ground (design wise) in the country… Go beat Newcastle then take on the might of the Gunners.. and beat them too..;)
