Manager Gary Rowett sent his Stoke City squad into battle against Rotherham United on Saturday and again our efforts saw us take a point from the encounter.

Having trailed 2-0 to the newly promoted team, Stoke got themselves into gear in the second half and goals from Tom Ince and Bojan saved more blushes in the Championship season of 2018/19.

It was a slightly better showing from the side at least and with the chances created we should’ve been looking at all three points, but despite hitting the woodwork, statistics website WhoScored gave striker Benik Afobe their top rating with a score of 7.90.

The 25-year-old got three out of four shots on target and helped himself to two key passes, with one of those being the assist for Bojan’s leveller.

Erik Pieters, Bojan, Ince and Joe Allen completed our top five best performers on the day according to the website but Afobe does seem to be finding himself some consistency now but with only 29 touches registered across the game, we need to get him more involved in things.
