Former Stoke player, Micky Adams has taken over the hot seat at Vale Park.
It’s been announced that Adams has taken up the reins at our local League 2 rivals, Port Vale. He made ten appearances for the Potters in the last three months of the 1993/94 season and scored three goals before joining Fulham the following season where he saw out his playing days before becoming their manager in 1996.
He’s been out of a job since being sacked after his second spell at Brighton back in February and will hopefully rescue the Valiants before they slide out of the Football League altogether.
