We are Stoke, and we are entering the match tomorrow as underdogs – which is no skin off our noses because we relish it! And one of the typical associations with being British is the attitude of supporting the underdog, which has been proven by quite a few. We`ve noticed that the odd fan or two from other sites have commented on our articles wishing us luck ahead of the cup final. This is what they have said:

ExpatVillaShirt said: “Villa fan in peace. Good luck against Citeh in the final folks :)”

Leelindsay said: “(Villa fan also in peace!) Enjoy tomorrow lads, I will be egging you on… I hate Man Citeh – good luck to you!”

Danielbolden commented: “Spurs dan in peace – I wish you the best of luck for Saturday’s game against Citeh. I hope you smash ’em sideways. You deserve to be there, I wish we were. Good luck again.”

Uskok wrote: “good luck tip them out at Wembley”

storagematt commented: “From all of at Pompey, we wish you all the best despite your awful kit that reminds of our dearset neighbours, the scummers. This time last yaer we were facing Chelsea & 3 years ago we had a glorious day beating Cardiff. It’s a fantastic day, I was grateful to be there for all our recent Wembley trips & away games in Europe are a lifetime must. Special good luck to Begovic & Wilson if they play. Play up Stoke.”

Many thanks to them! We at Vital Stoke thought they were very kind words, and we`ll gladly take all the luck they have wished us.

But I was wondering if any of the Editors had anything to say to us. So with that, I spammed every Vital Editor in the Premier League! I asked them if they had any messages, words of wisdom, or predictions ahead of the all important FA Cup Final and these are the responses I have received:

Vital Chelsea: Vital Chelsea popping in here; just to wish Stoke City all the best against Manchester City in the FA Cup Final.
Hopefully, Robert Huth will recover from the knee injury he sustained against Arsenal to play his part in denying Manchester City that elusive first trophy for thirty-five years; we always like to keep an eye on how our ex-players do.
Good luck lads, keep it tight and you can do it!

Vital Aston Villa: Every dog has his day, even an underdog, good luck against the obscene millions of Manchester. If you can`t win, at least give them a good kick from all at Vital Villa!
J P Fear

Vital Wolves: I’ll be cheering on Stoke in the Cup Final, as it would be great to see another English manager lift the cup and to show that money cannot buy you silverware! Good luck!
Akela

Vital Wigan: I hope you win and win well, for two reasons, firstly because Pulis has worked his socks off and got together a good side on a limited budget, he deserves some success and secondly (but mainly) so that when we come to you on the last day of the season needing a win to keep alive our Premier League status, your players will still be hung over from celebrating your cup success and won`t give a flying hoot about letting us win 2-0! As for the FA Cup Final score, my prediction is: Manchester City 1-2 Stoke City AET.

Vital WBA: Best of luck for the Final, be far more interesting to see you take the Trophy than the bazillions of Man City. Just do us one favour, don’t play Robert Huth. The Final is supposed to be a spectacle of all that is great about the beautiful game, it’s no place for talentless clodhoppers who do their best just to foul strikers 🙂
Baggy Boy

Vital Sunderland: Good luck to the Sunderland B team! haha
No in all seriousness all the best for the FA Cup final, make the most of the occasion as they rarely come!

Thank you so much to all of you guys for your inspirational words of encouragement! Now I`m off to bed for an early start in the morning, especially as I am so unbelievably knackered from all the build up!
