Boskamp to go whatever?

Stoke Manager, Johan Boskamp seems to be on the verge of walking out of the Britannia at the end of the month whatever the outcome of the takeover talks that are still ongoing.

He revealed today that he had already turned down two job offers but ‘would not turn down another’ in the strongest hint that either the board give him the two year contract he has asked for or he walks at the end of the season.

Potters’ Chairman, Gunnar Gislason had asked Boskamp to wait until the end of takeover talks between the Icelandic majority shareholders and fellow director, Peter Coates but it seems that Boskamp has had enough and will leave whatever the outcome.

Boskamp was distinctly absent from the traditional end of season lap of honour by the players after yet another disappointing home defeat, this time losing 1-0 to Coventry City.
