It’s being reported that Stoke City are casting their line in the direction of Spurs’ winger, Wayne Routledge as they continue their attempt to bring some fresh blood in on loan.

Routledge is out of favour at White Hart Lane and went on loan to Fulham last season. He’d certainly be a big boost for the beleaguered Potters midfield if they can land him, but they’ll be no word from the Brit unless anyone is signed. Tony Pulis has now passed a new resolution not to discuss any prospective deals until they’re signed, sealed and delivered after fans were getting increasingly disenchanted with the constant let-downs after so many players failed to sign on the dotted line after word had leaked out.
