Stoke could seek a continuation to a decent Chelsea relationship, this has previously seen Victor Moses and Marco van Ginkel – his deal was cut short – borrowed, with the loan signing of Ruben Loftus-Cheek next season.

The Daily Mail reports Chelsea’s Loftus-Cheek is ‘attracting interest from several Premier League sides’ but Stoke is seen as his most likely destination?

Stoke had shown an interest in a possible loan deal back in January, as the Mail reminded us, but that didn’t happen with Chelsea boss Antonio Conte preferring to keep him in the Blues’ squad for the season run in.

His reported £50,000 a week plus wages would rule out any permanent deal with a ‘loan the likeliest option’ for the 21 year old Loftus-Cheek, also mentioned in connection with a potential switch to Brighton should they secure a place in the Premier League.

But it was claimed any move would depend on certain assurances over playing time for the England U21 international – there’s a little connection between Loftus-Cheek and Stoke already as his half brother is former Potters defender Leon Cort.
